Preserving an Historic Church Building
The main part of the Unitarian Church of Barnstable building, the Sanctuary, is 115 years old as of this year, 2022. Although generally well-maintained, the historic clock and bell tower areas show the wear of time and weather.
On a beautiful day in July 2021, a drone flew around the tower, or upper steeple, area to show us the extent of the toll that time has taken on this iconic structure. Take a look at the photos.
