C.L. Fornari Garden Tour
Cape Cod’s Garden Lady, C.L. Fornari, is opening her own gardens in Sandwich
for a special one-day tour during her favorite garden time of the year.
Walk with C.L. every hour on the hour starting at 11:00 as she explains her landscaping choices and speaks about particular plants (last tour begins at 3:00). Enjoy complimentary refreshments as you stroll the gardens. Go home with a handout that lists C.L.’s favorite annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees.
See gardens that were especially designed with purple and white flowering annuals for a September wedding. You’ll see the Fornari’s vegetable garden, Annual Alley and Oregano Row. The fall-flowering perennials and annuals will be at their peak, and you’ll view how the many specimen trees have grown in the four years they’ve been in the garden.
C.L. Fornari is a regular speaker to local garden clubs and civic associations as well as regional and national organizations. She has lectured at the New York and Boston Horticultural Societies and been a featured presenter at major flower shows in this country. C.L. is the author of five books and a regular columnist in the print media. Her photographs have been widely published and she has been a regular contributor to The Cultivated Gardener, a program broadcast nationally over NPR stations. She currently hosts Gardenline, a call-in-talk radio program on WXTK 95.1 FM every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. C.L. is also an active blogger on her popular site www.wholelifegardening.com.
